2:46pm: money jokes.....
Now Leela is probably the best person to ask, but when did the medical centre become "private"? I was told today that they now charge for jabs because they're "private", and so it cost me £90 to be protected against hepetitus B!?!?!? What a joke, coz I really have that to waste on jabs, hope the orphans appreciate it! Oh and the print unit stole a pound off me! (& lost at pool twice! It's just not my day!)

have now printed proj and bound it (this may have been slightly brash, but was so stressed didn't want to have it hanging over me all weekend) have spent at least £25 on printing and binding today but feel eerily calm now!?!?! Phps it's just the action of spending money- nahhhhh must just be that have no more proj to do! Anyone on campus and want a quick pint? (only a pound!) Think everyone's at home, probably the best place on a rainy miserable friday! :o( (Don't worry secretly I'm jumping up and down with joy!) I can finally enjoy my ridiculously stuffed tummy that's full of yummy pizza!

10:59am: Look at Meeeeeeeee!
Have 5 mins to spare, and since i spent an hour and a half looking 4 a computer yesterday I'm getting my own back now! I feel very fancy and luxury today because this morning, instead of printing out all of my coursework and finally giving it a proper read through, I went and had a french manicure at the Green Rooms (with many thanks to Laura (and Tony)). This quite a feat since I've been trying to grow my nails long since November (when I got the voucher!), and even then the lady used bostik super glue on one nail to fix it where it had teared! But I'm all smiley and happy now, coz they look very shiney and sparkley - let's just hope they last the adventures of lauras birthday without any casualties! (many thanks to laura and her html space) And finally it seems that not only is my cousin probably getting married in iraq, but so is one of my old school friends! I't just a wedding frenzy at the mo! Hope you all have wickid weekends, I'll be mostly in cardiff and liverpool, will let you know how it all goes on monday (well, perhaps tuesday!)

10:08am: sorry kiddies
Sorry i've been so lame recently! But moving on anyway.... Last night our house went election crazy... Me and Leela were there from the start with a late entry from laura, which resulted in me and laws staying up till gone 5 (and getting up to uni for a 9.15 - get in!) And the news on bree is that tough love has meant i have had two 'full' nights sleep! I hope she's found some other suckers to abuse and isn't on the streets! Better still i hope she's gone home! Anyway, must toodle pip, have lecture now, but have a yummy pitstop to look forward to at lunch (as if the massive bag of tortilla chips and giant sized dr pepper I consumed last night doesn't still make me feel like my stomach's going to explode! and my skin feel like it's been dipped in a frying pan! Ewwwwww!) On that thought! Byyyyye! p.s. poooor kilroy.....?

5:16pm: I won I won!
Hahhaha, just having a break from project work (for those that are interested, have decided to do a stall on tessellations, using a cool home made kaleidoscope thingy to make it more interesting - called - lamely - "Stars in your eyes!") Ok only exciting thing to happen today was giving blood - which was more exciting than usual because I have a bandage on my arm and I got the Bronze award!!! This consists of a certificate and pin stating that I have given blood 10 times! I'm still intrigued to know how much blood there is in my body and whether I've given a whole body's worth yet!?!?! That reminds me - must watch the rest of Blade I! Also, there's a kind of consensus that after Tim's visit to Bath this weekend, we miss him lots and lots! Phps he could live in the spare room ... oh no i forgot, he'd probably catch pneumonia!

12:16pm: Ski Sunday
I've got Ski Sunday in my head! Ahhhhhh! It's actually mainly just the bass part that I used to play in steel band, that's properly been whizzing round but still it's pretty annoying! Ummmmmmm, I still haven't decided my modules for this semester, it's too hard! There's one that's really interesting and taught by good lecturers, but I'd have to work at the concepts (it's 4th year stats), and then one that could be interesting, but the lecturer's new and not that good (but only a 3rd year module), so it seems like a risk to take it!?!?!?!? Also I have to think of a stall to organise for the Bath Taps into Science Days, it has to be a topic which is fun and interesting, to do with Maths or Science, and suitable for doing around school kids, outside in the wind, rain and snow! I've so far come up with tesselations, I'd probably use wooden blocks, but could probably use laminated card/velcro? But I'm not sure if that's really fun enough? Anyone else got some suggestions? Take care, keep reading! Love Hannah xxxxxxxx

Can't believe it's been a month! Opps, well the only person that's said anything has been Laura, so no real worries! Comedy things in the past month... * Laura and I deciding that we are actually having a quarter life crisis! * An old lady almost running me down at the widcombe traffic lights (she was going through a red light and I was already half way across the road). Other things include... * Me going for two weeks (and counting) with no-one noticing that I have new glasses. * Generally doing Maths and not really seeing anyone, because when I invite them out the "right" people aren't there. * Bufs rubbish Perhaps this is why I don't write anymore, it's just not interesting.

3:42pm: Go Hannah it's your birthday!!!!!
Ummm am having a fabby day, presents so far arrrrrre ........ just from nick but i got breakkie in bed (which meant a trip to somerfield (i think???)), red roses, continental chocs and a locket! Am being trained in the art of laziness, have been to BUFS meeting and played pool, oh and had pitstop, it's great! Isn't it weird how company's can find out your birthday at the click of a button, I've received things from Liquid (nightclub), Club 2000(bingo), Sainsbury's (the vodka chocolate shot things), and birthday alarm! Actually if your interested they gave me a free astro profile! It goes as follows......... Birth Data for hannah: Birth Date and Time..... November 10, 1982 6:04 PM Birth Location............. Basingstoke, United Kingdom Sun Sign.................... Scorpio Section 1: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others You are always questioning and learning, and you seem young and alive no matter what your chronological age, for your mind is always alert, curious, flexible and open to new experiences. You have a childlike enthusiasm for anything new (cheers!) and you learn easily, but you also get bored rather quickly. You can be something of a scatterbrain, for you tend to have so many ideas and irons in the fire that it is hard to keep track of them all. You need and crave variety, change, mental stimulation, and an active social life. Section 2: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation Quiet, deep, emotionally complex and intensely private, you are not a person who is easy to get to know and understand. You are extremely sensitive but disinclined to show it, and you allow only a special few into your inner world. Like a wary animal, you are cautious and mistrustful of those you do not know until you "sniff them out". You are very, very instinctive and intuitive. You usually have a strong, immediate gut reaction to people, even though you may be unable to clearly articulate why you feel as you do. Your feelings and perceptions go deeper than words. Hahahhahahahha! Also I've got some gossip about Nick, he's leading a double life, as a ...... simson professor of mathematics!!!!!!! This is Professor Nick Hill of glasgow Uni, but he looks like this....??? Oh and if you want a laugh look at........ http://people.bath.ac.uk/mn1ml/eastwood.htm(pay special attention to ..... 11:07am: I am ....... Haematoma Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahahhahahah giving Blood was ABSOLUTE COMEDY! So I get there for my appointment at 10 and am going in to actually give blood by 10.05! Lux! Then comes the comedy part, as the lady (sue) tries to find my vein (which I have previously warned her about) her face screws up and she ends up chasing my 'Mobile Viens' round the inside of my arm Yummy! We get about a tube full of blood out before she hurriedly 'pulls the plug on that one' saying that she's very sorry but i'll get a bruise from it (she gives me the leaflet about it and it sounds like it's going to be pretty impressive - heheheh)! I explain that it's happened before and I don't mind if they try the other arm! A small time later, lindsay has a go on the other arm and after a repeat performance we get it all strapped up and rocking! Sue said I may also get a small bruise on that arm too tho so i can't wait to see what it's like for my birthday!!!!!! Heheheheh! Fan-tast-tic (as my boss would say)! Other comedy includes me going to be a tutor next week after no training (all other tutors have attended about 10-12 hours worth!) Hope people weren't trying to eat while reading this! Does anyone know if there are fireworks on Friday down in town? Opps, just found this I'll be going with Leela (& Rich??) so please join us, it'll be fun! Bath Fireworks Display Fri 5 Nov, Recreation Ground, Bath, approx 7pm, free. Traditional pyrotechnics and a big blazing fire 'twixt the famous Bath rugby goalposts. Rain can often stick a spanner in the works, so pray for fine weather and invest in some wellies. If you can't get in, nice views can also be had from around Pulteney Weir, North Parade and Bog Island.Laura, do you always cook spaghetti carbonara for your guests? Ummmmmm and I hope everyone can make the 13th (i'm booking mini bus for 10 people)! Have a nice week........ 6 days!!!!!!!!

4:54pm: Finally!
I have finally found myself with a spare 10 mins to update my journal! Scandalous! Good news today, the socs office is a god send and have given me loads of numbers for Mini Buses, so my birthday trip to Cardiff may still be on. I hope I don't forget to invite anyone! but i reckon a 8/10 seater should be plenty, knowing my luck they'll try and fob me off with one of those coaches (all of them are called "..... coaches" so this could be amusing) or even better, phps a doppelganger!! Am also getting pretty excited about Austria, it felt like it was ages away but now i think about it I should really start packing tomorrow! Eeeek! Comedy moments - Tristan pushing me up the hill so we'd do it in 15 mins!!! (I don't think we managed it even with that!) - Nick getting "locked in our house" only to find out that we have a spare key lying around! Think that's it for now!?!? Oh just one more thing.......

Thought that since this e-mail was so long and ki8da says most of what i would write here anyways I'd copy and paste it. Any complaints can come and smell my socks/trainers! As always am dog tired and the only thing that got me homw in one piece was thinking about how GOD DAAAAAMN GOOD MUSE WERE!!!!!!!!! Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh! My journey home started at 7 o'clock when i was woken by some hooligans honking their fog horn! Yeah coz that's reaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally clever! Went to the loo and couldn't get back to sleep, me and laura were both up and packed by 9.50 when we trekked for 10 mins to get to the bus queue, which was about 2 hours long, after talking to the security guard we decided to walk to the train station "a short walk away", an hour and a half later we arrived (jokes) with our rucksacks and tents! Jokes! It's 3 o'clock now and like i said I've only just got in, that's the last time I go to a festival without a car! I swear everyone there had loads of luxuries like chairs and blow up beds and BBQ's and huige bottles of water and crates of beer, all the sort of stuff you can only fit in if you have a car, so , if we really do make it to glastonbury next year PROMISE! that someone will be driving! I'm to old to be slumming it!" the looks i got on the tube were sooooo degrading! Anyways the only reason I do it is for the music and I promise, it was DEFINATELY worth it. Muse rocked, snow patrol were fabulous, kosheen were suprisingly good, the strokes were cool and we were moshing with Dermot o'leary! I'm not joking! and he was so drunk that he was trying to get on someones shoulders and fell off flat on his face literally! He didn't get up until someone helped him! Mashed! It's gotta be my greatest claim to fame ever! Also saw jo absolom, two guys from east is east, jo again!, jayne middlemiss, dermot sober, dermot sneaking away from NERD, sophie ellis bextor with her man and baby (with funky wellies on), dermot watching 'the concretes', dermot wasted (we think he was stalking us!). Anyways other good bands included aqualung, cathy davies, scissor sisters (very crazy). Erm have many funny stories to tell you but will wait until you get your ass down here to see me ;o) Think this afternoon i will be mostly washing and watching Kill Bill. Please remind me to get Nme on wednesday! Take care I want to hear lots more drunken stories! Say hi to everyone and eat an orange! Loadsa Love Hannah (not to be confused with Romford or Romfield)

8:47pm: Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!
Am very sorry to my (very few) avid fans but have been so busy and I feel bad using the internet at home coz it costs proper money! My summer so far has consisted of going to Dublin with the camp lasses, white water rafting, going to the cinema/bowling/bingo (yes you read that right!), seeing many kids at the pub (well wetherspoons, lloyds and liquid have pretty much been it), having laura down to stay, having nick down to stay (two time out of two of which his car broke down on route!), and staying with nick - I went to "Cheddar Gorge" Ooooooooooooooooh (car did not break down!?!?), Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm oh yes how could i forget.... WORKING! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! No I can't complain, it's not that bad, everyone's lovely (even if they are work obsessed!) And my pay check has allowed me to buy 2 skirts, fancy pink silk pyjamas, an accessorise bag (It's gooooooooooorgeous), a bikini (don't say it, I know i swore I wouldn't but accessorise had a sale!), a new dress for the wedding, and other such luxuries which get eaten or drunk away! Oh well! Can't stay on too long, my sis keeps hanging around the phone (my mission to get her to uni is going very slowly! The other day my ex next door neighbour gavin said he thinks I'll have kids at 29 and claire will at 21!!!!!!!!!! That's my age! Nooooooooooooooooooooooo I must not let her walk the path of doooooooooom, she has to go to uni or at least do something crazy before she ties herself down! Well I dunno it's her life, whatever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Anyways I will up date with pics of the wedding, the new dress looks fabulous daaaaaaaaaaarling! Until then some very unflattering pictures of me in a wetsuit! Hahahhahahhah! Why am I putting this on the internet??????????? actually i don't know how to do it from home, so you'll have to wait until some poor soul gives me some guidelines!

(laura wouldn't let me eat the whole thing in one sitting though so it lasted, two days!)) I love the way that there is no nutritional information on the packs, so you know you're being bad, just not quite how bad! Suprisingly I have no complaints about Nick after my humungous kick he's been very competant. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! This is why I haven't actually written for over a week coz I have nothing to say other than, I did revision, think I actually clocked up a massive 3-4 days without leaving the house! Wahoooooooooooo! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! My exams start REALLY soon, but if I'm honest 'the fear' hasn't hit yet, I'm of the mood, who gives? Nooooooooooooooo! Let's just hope that all this information is magically stored in my head somewhere! Am slightly concerned that everytime I go to sit down and learn stuff my eyes start to droop and I'm doozing off to sleep???? I mean I give myself about 8 hours sleep and I wake up fine, I even went running again today in an attempt to make me more motivated! (it didn't work) So perhaps it's just that my work is REALLY boring or someink! Who knows! There's nowt more to say, I'm all alone in the house and I haven't spoken to anyone since friday night (when I invited myself over to trix and rich's place, we watched McBain which from the outside seemed to fulfill the bad but funny criteria, only to suprise us all by actually having a budget and plot! :o) (this didn't stop me from going to sleep halfway through despite Tristan's efforts, opps!) Here's hoping you all had much better bank holiday weekends than I did! H xxx ps Good Luck to Bristol City! (although I doubt Nick reads this - or anyone on the Bristol City team! Tsch!) 9:41am: So Much to do, ALWAYS!
I could rattle on for days about the amount of stuff I have to do but that would be waaaaaaaaay to boring. I have recently decided that I will probably become a teacher, but not before going travelling. This is a fairly big chioce since I always resented people who were like oh you're doing maths, are you going to be an accountant or a teacher! Grrrrrrrrr! Anyways, so I'm signing myself up to do tutoring in a local school, this involves me filling out ANOTHER police disclosure form! JOKES! If only I was the kind of organised person that photocopies everything before they send it off I could have just copied all the information off of my last one! The guy on the phone said you have to state all your residences for the past five years (which i had forgotten about) so that'll be like Basingstoke, Bath, Basingstoke, Bath,...... Tsch! But yeah I think I'll be good at it, mildly scary (for all the hooligans) yet crazy (all my Maths teachers were, at heart, completely mad!) yet nice (so that everyone will love me and give me christmas cards! (which as everyone knows is a true measure of niceness! ;o))) Ok guna go do work, think I have done everything I need to..... Oh no have to send e-mail to my tutor....... and Isobel! I typed "lots of work" and searched in google, this was what came up...... P.S. GOOD LUCK LAURA FOR YOUR INTERVIEW (WHICH IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
